Bringing all the Onboarding Week learning points together

Major British retail brand Marks & Spencer wanted to create an Onboarding Game that would provide new starters with a more interactive way of exploring the strategy and navigating the product journey.

The game would become an important feature of the company’s onboarding agenda, with each new cohort connecting in small groups to take on the challenge and compete on the all-time leaderboard.

Case Study – Matillion

Tech unicorn Matillion wanted to make their new hire orientation events more interactive and engaging. We created a series of games that included fast-paced team challenges, fun delivery of onboarding learning points and a varied mix of “Matillionized” video, audio, trivia, and puzzles, to achieve the “wow factor”.

How it works

Delivery, tech and meeting formats

The games are run in teams of 3-6 people, online on a browser, typically as part of a video meeting. As the teams go into break-out rooms, one person per team starts the game and shares their screen to allow everyone to see.

Our tech works with any type of video conference platform like Zoom, MS Teams etc. The games can be run entirely virtually, as a hybrid event or in-person. If you are a global company, you can even run the games simultaneously across multiple countries!
